What is Open Play?
At Little Haines City – Kick & Play, Open Play is a self-guided experience where children can explore, imagine, and learn through play in our interactive miniature city. Every visit is an opportunity to create new adventures, build confidence, and develop social skills in a fun, safe, and engaging environment.
Children are free to move throughout our play space at their own pace, exploring favorites like our:
- Grocery Store
- Restaurant
- Veterinary Clinic
- Fire Station
- Dress-Up Area
- Interactive Wall Games
- Sensory Room
- Indoor Playground with Ball Pit
There are no scheduled activities or instructors — just endless opportunities for imaginative, child-led play. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to join the fun or relax while watching their little ones explore.
Each Open Play admission includes 2 hours of playtime.

- Infants 6–12 months: Full access to age-appropriate play areas.
- Infants 5 months and younger: Free with a paid sibling and must remain in the care of a parent or guardian at all times. They must be held and may not use the playground or play equipment.
- Siblings ages 9–13 are $12.99 + tax for access to the sibling area.
Adult admission
Each $16.99 open-play admission covers one child and up to two adults. Each additional adult is $9.99 + tax. Little Haines City is supervised play only — no drop-offs. One adult must remain with each family for the whole visit.
Grip socks
Grip socks are required for every walking child and for every adult entering the play city. Bring your own or purchase a pair at check-in for $3.00.
Capacity & reservations
We limit the number of children in the city at one time so play stays safe. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and during school breaks. Walk-ins are welcome when space allows, and a waitlist activates when we're full.
Important rules
Signed waiver required for each child (renewed every 6 months) · no outside food or drinks · sick children must stay home · strollers stay in your vehicle · cashless facility (3% card processing fee) · no shoes past the cubby wall.
